Each year, Civic Regular Members receive a stipend that is paid bi-weekly and intended to offset living expenses. For the 2024/25 Season, each Regular Member of the Civic Orchestra will receive a stipend of $9,500, contingent upon completion of all required activities.

Mark Almond joins the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as principal horn, having previously worked as associate principal horn of the San Francisco Symphony, co-principal horn of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and third horn of the Philharmonia Orchestra, London.

Many patrons wear business attire or casual business attire. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. For the benefit of all patrons and performers, we ask that you refrain from using strong perfume and cologne.
