What happens if it rains? All concerts at Tanglewood take place rain or shine. We cannot offer refunds due to inclement weather. In the event of lightning in the area patrons should make their way to the nearest Severe Weather Shelter.

In a typical summer, Tanglewood welcomes more than 350,000 visitors to performances, recitals, and seminars across 500 acres nestled between Lenox and Stockbridge.

Please be mindful of other patrons seated on the lawn. Ball playing is not permitted on the Shed lawn at any time when the grounds are open for a Shed concert. No eating or drinking (except water) is permitted inside any of the concert halls.
