Is the fusion suit fused to Samus?
It wasn't fused to her skin. When the suit is active, it integrates itself with her central nervous system, so it couldn't be removed while she was unconscious. The X fused her body and suit, thus, Metroid Fusion. The Fusion is actually the fusion of Human and Metroid DNA.
Is SA-X Dark Samus?
Chronologically speaking, SA-X is the second doppelgänger/clone of Samus Aran, with the first being Dark Samus.
How do you get past SA-X in Metroid Fusion?
Stick to the low ground and fire charged beam shots directly at the SA-X to destroy it. Your beam must be fully charged to damage it. As it approaches, Space Jump over the SA-X to the other side of the floor while charging your beam, and release the shot when you land.
Why is Samus immune to X?
Samus nearly dies, but is saved by having Metroid DNA injected into her body, having lost her Power Suit as part of the process. This Metroid DNA ultimately makes her immune to infection, due to Metroids being predators of the parasite.
