Demo folder If it's a demo from Matchmaking, it will be saved in the folder: "Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\replays." After successfully inserting the file into your CS2 installation folder, it's better to rename it so you can launch it quickly using the console.

For returning CS:GO players, Counter-Strike 2 will appear as an update to the game in your library. Simply install the update and CS2 will replace CS:GO. On the other hand, if you were not a CS:GO player but are looking to get into Counter-Strike now, you can easily download the game from Steam.

Just launch Steam and click on 'Steam' in the upper left corner, then go to 'Settings'. Hit the 'In-Game' tab and make sure to check the box that says 'Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game'. Don't forget to hit OK to save your changes.
