Last year, Nintendo announced that it would be shutting down the online service for its 3DS and Wii U games - meaning games like Mario Kart 7, Splatoon, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf will no longer be able to connect online.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf 2 (とびだせ: どうぶつの森 for 擬人化, Tobidase: Dōbutsu no Mori for Gijinka, lit. Animal Forest: Jump Out for Humanization) is the second Animal Crossing game for Nintendo 3DS. It is a remake of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, adding features that can be found in the Harvest Moon series.
