For current Indiana University students, faculty, and staff, your username is assigned automatically based on your last name, first name, and possibly middle name. Your username is the section of your IU email address before the @ (for example, username @iu.edu ), and is also part of your University account.

Accessing and managing your email account Log in to the Outlook Web App via a desktop PC, laptop, mobile device, or campus workstation with your IU username and passphrase. You can also access your mail directly by logging into office.com with your username@iu.edu email address and your IU passphrase.

You can also access IU eTexts materials from My Workspace for any class you've been in that has used Courseload or Courseload Engage in Oncourse. To do so: In the My Workspace menubar, click Courseload eText Archive. In the upper left, click All Archived Semesters and Courses.

If you have not already set up an account with IU: Visit One. IU. Select the "Don't have an account?" link (under the login button), and follow the easy instructions to create your IU e-mail and computer accounts. You'll need your University ID (which is included in your letter of admission) to create these accounts.
