A short time later, the director of a Cincinnati art museum was indicted on obscenity charges for mounting an exhibit of Mapplethorpe's photographs that only a few weeks before had been hanging at a nearby university without incident. The photos included men displaying their genitals and engaged in sex acts.

I spent about 2 hours, but could have easily spent another 2 just admiring all of the work and reading about the artists. I didn't explore outside, so not sure if there was more to see. Best part is the entire museum is FREE and FREE PARKING on site. Impressive Whitfield Lovell exhibit in a lovely regional art museum.
