The orchestra's season remains 52 weeks and size remains 100 members. Musicians will receive raises each year of the contract. Base salary will rise from $135,096 (2017-2018) to $143,364 by the 2020-2021 season.

By mutual decision, David Radzynski has stepped down from the post of Concertmaster of The Cleveland Orchestra effective March 3, 2024. Mr. Radzynski assumed the role of Concertmaster in January of 2023, after playing with the orchestra on its first post-pandemic European tour in the Fall of 2022.

Most classical concerts last between 90 minutes and two hours, including one intermission. Family Concerts and Friday Morning Matinees last about one hour.

The Cleveland Orchestra employs over 230 people. Of that number, approximately 100 musicians and 2 conductors perform on stage, and roughly 130 administrative and support staff work behind the scenes to make the concerts and all other activities possible.
